             क्षेत्र के कृषि विज्ञान केंद्र अमिहित में विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस के अवसर पर किसानों को पौधा वितरण किया गया। केंद्र के वरिष्ठ वैज्ञानिक एवं अध्यक्ष डॉक्टर नरेंद्र रघुवंशी ने किसानों को सागौन एवं बेल के पौधों को उन्नतशील कृषकों को भेंट किया।

डॉ रघुबंशी केंद्र केवीके अमिहित पर भी अपने कर्मियों के साथ पौधरोपण करते हुए जनमानस को पौधरोपण के प्रति जागरूक होने एवं वायु मंडल में उलब्ध ऑक्सीजन एवं ऑक्सीजन के स्रोत झाड़ दार वृक्षों के विषय में जानकारी दी। केंद्र के वैज्ञानिक डॉक्टर एके सिंह ने पर्यावरण दिवस पर ज्यादा से ज्यादा पौधरोपण करने हेतु किसानों को जागरूक किया गया व वृक्षों द्वारा गिराई गई पत्तियों से भूमि की उर्वरा शक्ति बढ़ाने में योगदान की जानकारी भी दी।
केंद्र के फॉर्म मैनेजर विजय कुमार सिंह ने बताया कि हमारे पूर्वजों ने सर्वाधिक आक्सीजन उत्सर्जन करने वाले पीपल वृक्ष को देव वृक्ष कहकर उसे उखाड़ने तथा नष्ट करने से बचाने का प्रयास सदियों पूर्व से करते आये है। पीपल वृक्षों की सुरक्षा करें उन्हें नष्ट करने की कोशिश ना करें। इस महामारी में हमने ऑक्सीजन और ऑक्सीजन के महत्व को अच्छी प्रकार से जाना और माना है इसके साथ ही उन्होंने फलदार वृक्ष जैसे आम आंवला अमरुद नींबू पपीता के उन्नतशील प्रजातियों की जानकारी एवं उपलब्धता के विषय में किसानों को जानकारी दी। इस अवसर पर केंद्र के अन्य स्टाफ दिनेश, प्रदीप यादव, सचिन यादव धीरज कुमार, विवेक सिंह, परमेंद्र कुमार समेत तमाम लोग उपस्थित रहे।
